Plotly June Virtual Hangout

Bringing Passionate Python Developers Together

June 26, 12pm EDT

We’re proud and lucky to have a thriving community of enthusiastic Plotly users. Plotly Community Manager Adam Schroeder started a new initiative called “Plotly Hangouts”. The casual session will occur every month and feature an interactive interview with a Plotly Community member with live audience Q&A. (Think of it as a virtual fireside chat!)

June's session will feature Andrew Schutte, Senior Data Scientist at the Kansas City Chiefs. As 2023 and 2024 Super Bowl Champions, the Chiefs rely on analytics to optimize operations both on and off the field, including ticket scan data, people analytics, and finance reporting. Andrew is in charge of implementing Python data apps at the Chiefs and is excited to share the following:

  • Hands-on technical showcase of real-time data apps
  • Deep dive into the data science function at the Kansas City Chiefs
  • Career reflections on transitioning from accounting to data science

Save your spot for the June community hangout!
