AI/ML in the era of COVID-19

Featuring Emma Gouillart, maintainer of Scikit-Image and Plotly scientist-in-residence

Recorded on June 10, 2020

COVID-19 has presented an influx of data across the world, including the number of cases, death counts, testing rates, and number of patients recovered. Organizations are racing to quickly understand this data in order to effectively manage their responses. As the de facto open-source dashboards library for Python, Dash has been used by hospitals, governments, investors, and citizens to visualize this data. Join us during this webinar where we walk through some of our best practices when it comes to transforming this data into interactive Dash apps:

During this 1 hour webinar and AMA, Plotly engineer and maintainer of Scikit Image, Emma Gouillart, will show you how to:

  • Optimize and clean your COVID-19 dataset for your dashboard
  • Implement interactive graphing and crossfiltering
  • Utilize Clientside Callbacks for in-browser callback processing
  • Analyze chest radiography images through Scikit Image
