Showcase of new Python data apps from the Plotly Community

June 7, 2023

From finance to bioinformatics and machine learning to API integration, Plotly’s new Explore Page provides a taste of the potential of Dash. As part of the page’s launch, we challenged our community to submit their very best apps, and they delivered!

We were impressed by the sheer volume of submissions, as well as the breadth of use cases for both work and personal projects alike. Tune in to this on-demand webinar, where the four winners will present their Python Dash apps. You’ll learn about their building process, usage, and resulting impact.

Here’s a preview of the data apps you will see:

  • An NLP tool that integrates spaCy, Keras, and scikit-learn to produce risk assessment predictions for clinical trials
  • A machine learning data app that uses imageo to process data submitted for global magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • A forecasting app that uses Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) to make predictions with time series data, as well as pmdarima and Cython
  • A corporate reporting app built by Thermoplan for tracking large-scale manufacturing sustainability using Ecoinvent 3.6
