Quality Control for Next-Generation Sequencing

with Emilie Burton, MSc, Product Manager for Dash Bio

Recorded on October 27, 2021

Scientists are often stuck using legacy tools that ultimately hamper workflows. With Dash Bio, these scientists can efficiently process large genomic files and add their open models to gather more insight, enhancing productivity in just a few lines of code.

Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) enabled the world to identify COVID-19 and rapidly develop diagnostic tests. As NGS becomes more prevalent compared to traditional Sanger, ensuring the highest quality reads becomes essential — too essential to outsource or outright ignore, in some cases.

In this webinar, Emilie Burton Product Manager of Dash Bio, will demonstrate how easy it is to regain control of your Quality Control. She will walk through the following:

  • How NGS technology has revolutionized genomic research
  • Building interactive Quality Control reports with Dash and Dash Bio and example analysis — without downloading multiple additional packages
  • How to gain true insight from your graphs by adding flexibility, editable annotations, and a depth of detail to real-time data processing
